Meat bone tea (Bak Kut Teh laaa)
Weekends…how I look forward to each week. This weekend when my dad asked me what to have for dinner, I immediately answered "Bak Kut Teh"!!
It has been quite some time since we last had it, so we went to a shop nearby to try it out.
This shop is located off Jln Abdullah Ariff. It can be seen just as you are passing by the main road to Air Itam.

The shop used to be very small but now they have extended to the next house and with air-cond installed too.
We ordered 3-person servings and with an extra dish of vegetables.

garlic and chillies yam rice and "yew char koey"

vegetable (boiled and added with soya sauce, sesame oil and topped with meat floss)
And the main dish….

Inside: pork meat, meat balls, vege, mushrooms, corn, tau kuah.
Overall, the taste was ok, but not great. The soup has enough herbal taste and sweetness in it. The yam rice was nice though as they added dried shrimps to it.
Any better "Bak Kut Teh" stalls/shop to recommend??
