While driving around town thinking what to eat, we came across this shop:

JEMPUTREE
64, Chow Thye Road (Along Burmah Road)

Such a weird name right?? No idea how it came about but the waiter said they are a sub branch from KL.

 

Food: western, local, thai, itallian, etc. We ordered kiwi juice, carrot juice and hot tea.

                   

chicken & mushroom stew with rice (guess what’s on top of the rice) (actually it was some fancy name which I can’t recall, hence I simply describe it)

                                     chicken burger - huge and cheap!!!

Actually the food was ok, normal and not over-priced. But we enjoyed the ambience and settings of the shop.

 

They played English songs over the speakers too, giving a relaxing feeling to diners. Looks like it’s a nice place for gathering and birthday celebrations!!
