It’s time again to celebrate birthday and blow candles again! The first birthday among our group of friends is Eng Tau (Peach) It’s just a small get-together, at a small restaurant and with small cakes..but I guess when there are close ones to celebrate with you, nothing is small, even the tiny efforts made to plan out the gathering. I personally do feel that way. It’s good enough that people even remember my birthday and even more touching if there’s a celebration. Here’s the birthday girl Happy Birthday!!!

 And here’s the mini cakes we bought (seems to be the trend of cakes we buy these days huh….coz part of the motive is to try out more flavours, hehehe)

I decided to propose this place to go to after reading so many reviews and comments about the nice + big/worthy portion food. It was indeed very nice and the taste is very different. Every bite is a small surprise as all of us have never tasted german food before. Too bad my camera battery went flat soon after the food arrived, so I’ve only managed to snap a one and only photo of the food we ordered.

Yup there’s 6 of us but we only ordered two set meal. One is the German Butcher Platter (lower left) and another is the today’s special (forgot the name but the main serving is porklion with homemade redwine sauce). It looks small form the photo but the platter came out to be quite big, enough for two to share. Of course servings didn’t make us totally full considering the portion should serve for about 3-4 people (coz we had other plans for later) Ohh yea…and we ordered one mushroom soup to share among us. Very nice and creamy with huge chunks of wild mushrooms!! Thumbs up. All the other side dishes came together with the platter, except the soup and drinks. And one for the album

Thinking back, we have known each others for more than 5 years!! Hope we will continue to have a long and beautiful years of friendship ahead! HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BIRTHDAY, ENG TAU!!!
