The weekend was spent mostly in the kitchen.

Morning time used up to do this…
I wasn’t so hardworking to do the above. My dad was in-charge to peel and slice the arrowheads, my mom in-charge to fry it to golden brown & crispy, while me?? I’m in-charge of EATING!! hahahaa…
Then came noon…lunch time. Parents went out while leaving the house to me (the afc channel fan who loves eating more than cooking & chef-buruk) to cook up a storm and prepare lunch for them when they get back.
I was in the mood for pasta, so this was what I made.
Please tell me it looks ok. haha…they both said it was not bad (for me it’s a good comment since they don’t really enjoy pasta)
Then tea time came…what’s for tea?? TEA la of course!!
I was too lazy to use the whole tea set, hence I only use the cups. I love this tea set ‘cause the dragon pattern changes colour when hot tea is poured into the cup & ‘cause I bought this set at a cheap price in a KL tea shop which was having a sales then.
Then evening came and we continued to experiment various recipes to make muffins!
Looks can be deceiving. And it certainly is. The above looks nice but the recipe came out bad and taste weird.
So, 2nd try…change recipe and some own modification
Although the later ones don’t look so mouth-watering, but it taste way better than the earlier ones. The muffins were slightly darker on one side ‘cause my oven’s heat is not evenly spreaded.
Nevertheless, it’s fun doing my first set of muffins although I won’t really eat most of it…haha..I enjoy experimenting more than eating!! So who wants to eat all the experiments I do???
Anyway, I didn’t mention..my mom was up even before 7am to do Murukus for those who ordered 30-40 tins and another few dozens of 8″x12″ packets of it from her.
