What do you think of PHOP?
That was the question asked when we were given a survery form to fill up after our meal. A question pop-up in my mind "What is PHOP?????". It took me a few seconds to realise that it was the abbreviation of Paddington House Of Pancake..This shop has been around since Queensbay is opened, but I’ve never dine-in before although I’ve passed by countless of times.

Drinks - Ice Fruit Tea (Peach) (left) & Ice Chamomile Tea (right)

Pan Fried Dory with Grilled Cheese
The fish was pan fried and still comes out very moist and fresh. There’s lots of baby tomatoes with melted cheese on the dory. Of course it came together with three 4-inches wheat pancake which is soft and appetizing.

Mexican Burger
A double burger with a combination of chicken meat on top and beef meat at the bottom. The pancake substitutes the usual burger bread and it was surprisingly very nice and taste great. Bread is usually very dry and tasteless but these pancakes is soft and slightly sweet. Both the chicken and beef meat came in thick portions yet tender and juicy.

Look what’s inside the burger. (from top to bottom) pancake, pineapple/onion/capsicium slices + cheese, chicken meat, vegetables/onion, pancake, beef meat, vegetables, pancake.

All in all, it was a super full and nice lunch. Thanks to KK for the treat!!! This is the only thing that I’ve got for my b’day and I really appreciate it!! (minus the one you brought on Sunday laa). And thank you also to you and SJ for the only ones who remembered. It was such a huge sigh when even the closest people I’m with and the ones I always thought of don’t remember what day it is.

There’s such an extensive menu in PHOP. I hope to go there again to try out the dessert pancakes!! Still can’t imagine the taste of pancakes with fruits and ice-cream yet…..hmmmm. PHOP really makes nice pancakes!!!

PHOP PHOP..i lazy blog bout it la.

Paddington is Fei Fei favourite.. he is expert in fine dinning and those restaurant hunting..
we’re being dragged to Queensbay Mall by him to this and we are satisfied with his recommendation on this pancake…
We like it since that day…
but one thing for sure.. it is slightly expensive food….
