"One is never enough…buns to die for!"
Is it me or does it sound too serious???

Yup Rotiboy is finally in Penang. Used to be able to enjoy it only in KL but now it is in Queensbay Mall at Lower Ground Floor.
Very surprised when I read the side information printed on the paper bag.

"Born in 1998 in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia". :O I always go to BM but never in the world did I know Rotiboy originated from there.
KK, you BM lang, why never tell me Rotiboy from there?????
And I wonder what took them so long to finally open in Penang a bakery like the ones in KL.

The bread is very crispy on the top but very soft and sweet inside. Another the good thing is although they put butter inside, the bread is not oily as a whole. I left it in the paper bag overnight but the next day the paper bag was still dry and clean. Unlike the ones I bought from Tesco, the whole paper bag gets oily the next day!!

Imagine how much they earn from the buns which sells at RM1.80 each (Used to be RM1.50 in KL about a year ago)
They have other varieties of bread too but of course their mexican buns is the Number 1 seller.
Cheese stick (RM1.50)

Good thing there’s more bakery choices in Queensbay Mall now.

Is Rotiboy really great? I just heard of it but never try it before. My hubby and I are bakery lovers! Probably should stop by QBay 1 day….
Mmm… btw I had added your blog as my “Malaysiaship” blogroll friend. Glad to have a new friend from Penang, Malaysia!

Hi Catherine.
Thanks for visiting. Are you from Penang as well?
Well, I prefer Rotiboy’s mexican bun much more than any other bakeries selling the same kind of buns. It’s smells very nice..even from far away. I bought home 2 that day and just as I took my first step into my house, my parents asked what did I buy that smells of coffee!!
But remember to eat it hot for that crispy yet soft taste of the buns. Do try it out

When I first discovered Rotiboy’s Mexican Bun (KL) I ate it about 3 times a week, until I overdosed! Hahaha…Then now, only slowly eat back, maybe twice a year! But yes, they are nice (and fattenining…I like! hahaha).

Hi wmw.
Yup last time when I was staying in KL, whenever any friends goes to anywhere with Rotiboy outlet around, me and my housemates will order like 5-10 buns to be bought back!!!
Recently I haven’t had any of it for months till this shop opened in Queensbay Mall
