While in KL Pavilion the other day, we walked around pondering what to eat and with the weekend crowd jamming the shopping mall like everything’s on sale, we decided to check out this Japanese food outlet (well, my friend gave me a choice between Sakae Sushi and Ichiban Boshi…so of course I want to try the one I’ve never been to before)

sake here…

sake there….
sake everywhere…..
Sushi belt
oh yea…I’m Raw, beware of me!!! kakkakaka
I’ve no idea the sushi names that we had because my friend picked all of it, while I picked the main dish. (Red plate = RM4, Beige plate = RM6)

This is very good!!

The usual

Also the usual

Unagi…my favourite!! But this one is quite dry and didn’t taste so nice.

Baby octopus
After munching up a few….my friend pushed the plate below to me…how to lose weight like that???!?!?!
Now the main dish…..
Ichiban Soba (RM14.90)
Looks mild but after a few mouthfuls, the spiciness was overwhelming….I ended up eating almost the whole plate because my friend rejected it after one spoonful!!!
Tempura Curry (RM 18.90)

Not the best tasted japanese curry…tempura was nice though.
There’s 10% service charge which we were not happy about because the atentiveness of the waiter was below expectation. We had to call them a few times to refill our green tea. Although there’s alot of customers, but still it should not be an excuse for poor service.
Want to try it out?
Ichiban Boshi is located on Lot 1.14, Pavilion KL (Where Food Republic - foodcourt is)
