Ritz Cakes and Pastries has yummy green tea cake!
Ritz Cakes and Pastry has a lot of unique cakes on sale. Their cakes are not the usual ones like sponge cake with lots of cream and those boring kind in other bakeries. Although they do have pastries, the cakes are the main attraction in the shop.
It’s located at Prima Tanjung, few doors away from 7-11 and on the same shoplot with The No Eye Deer Restaurant.
The cakes might not be as cheap as other bakeries but the quality and taste of it is certainly worth the price. It’s without doubt much nicer than Secret Recipe!! (MalaysiaBest post & Lingzie’s post)

Sold in small individual pieces or as a whole.

Cakes beautifully decorated and chilled

They have macarons too!!
My friend’s pick of the day. I insisted that they try the green tea but they were skeptical.
End up, they don’t really fancy the green tea cake and wallop all the other pieces. I happily eat it all.
The last time we had a gathering, it was a whole piece of green tea cake. We enjoyed it very much. I guess that bunch of us have the same liking!!

Hi Bev. Gald you found this post useful. Hope you keep visiting and leave your comments/views.
Big BOys Oven (BBO) is not based in Penang but KL. Anyway, they do occasionally come to Penang to conduct baking classes
